"I've told a few of my friends, but here’s the official announcement. I’m now an independent Arbonne consultant. Go ahead, you can laugh. Or be surprised. I know some people were. I never really thought I would join a company like this either, so I understand.

Ok, now that is out of the way. You may be wondering how in the world did I end up joining Arbonne? Good question.
I went to dinner with a friend a few weeks ago. This is a friend I’ve known pretty much since I was born, and I’d wanted to have dinner with her to ask her to be in my wedding. I found out later she wanted to have dinner with me to tell me about Arbonne! I really had no idea what Arbonne even was, but she was so excited about it. She asked me to come to a meeting to hear more, and I agreed.

I showed up at a beautiful house in east Edmond and listened carefully as Cecilia Stoll shared her story. She’s been selling Arbonne for years and is one of the top-sellers in the whole world. Not only that, but she uses her success to help others. In that meeting I wasn’t just learning about Arbonne, I was being reminded of the importance of community. The women in that room weren’t really there for Arbonne – many of them could care less about the products! They were there for their friends, the ones who had jumped into this opportunity with both feet. As I listened, I knew I wanted to get involved.
I signed up that night, even though I still wasn’t even sure what kind of products Arbonne sold! I just knew that the timing of things was perfect; I’d just lost all my part-time jobs. I’d lost a major client. Yet I somehow had a little room in budget for this opportunity.
The next week I went to another meeting where another consultant, one who recently earned her white Mercedes, told us about the health line of Arbonne products. Products that have been studied by the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, products that are all gluten-free and vegan. I stayed late that night, asking questions and trying smoothies. I realized that Arbonne wasn’t about make-up or anti-aging. It was about becoming the best you possible. (Too cheesy?)


For me, joining Arbonne wasn’t about making money, though I would love to have extra income. No, joining Arbonne is about joining a community. Joining Arbonne is about getting healthy. Joining Arbonne is about going out of my comfort zone and trying a new lifestyle, one that involves actually talking to people (I’m such a hermit these days, y’all) and taking time to think about what I put in and on my body.
I know there will be some people who are skeptical. There’s still a part of me that is too. But then I ask myself, what do I have to lose? Not much, really! I’ve never been a brand loyalist (just look in my bathroom – I’ve got products ranging from generic to MAC), so I’m always looking for new makeup and skincare. And I’ve been telling my friends for months that I need to start taking better care of myself, so trying these protein shakes and energy fizzes will only help my routine.

I’ll be blogging about my experience on here, both the business and client aspects of Arbonne. If you are interested in trying any of the products, let me know! So far I’ve only tried the RE9 products – I’ve been saving the health products for May 1st. So stay tuned to hear about my experience trying to get healthy…if you know me at all, you know the odds of me giving up my cheese tots and Dr Pepper are pretty slim! But I guess we’ll see…"

Have you Sea Source Detoxed?

The Foaming Sea Salt Scrub claims to exfoliate and cleanse toxins from the skin's surface, increasing microcirculation and stimulating skin to promote a softer, smoother look.
